Meet our Director:

Victoria Guzman, M.S. CCC-SLP

For over 17 years, Victoria Guzman, M.S. CCC-SLP has been providing treatment to children with a variety of exceptionalities and communication disorders. Her experience has been with children from newborns to adolescents both in the school system and private practice. Mrs. Guzman received her Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Nova University. She is a certified member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA), a member of the Florida Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (FLASHA). Mrs. Guzman is certified in the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), certified as an Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist with Early Steps Children’s Medical Services, a Fast ForWord provider, and a guest lecturer for the Master’s Program in Speech Pathology at Florida International University. In 1998, Victoria opened Children’s Speech Center, Inc. to provide services to children in a child friendly and family oriented environment. The Center focuses on all aspects of a child’s communication to enhance their skills and maximize therapy results. Mrs. Guzman has developed the Talking Tots Language Program, an intensive language program for children between the ages of two and four years old. Mrs. Guzman is also affiliated with Florida International University and Nova Southeastern University to supervise University interns completing their required hours for their Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Mrs. Guzman is also a candidate to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.


Meet our Staff:

Jennifer A. Del Amo, M.S. CCC-SLP

Jennifer A. Del Amo is a bilingual Speech Language Pathologist who completed her Clinical Fellowship Year at Children’s Speech Center in 2008. Ms. Del Amo earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2005, and completed her Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology in 2007 from Florida International University. Jennifer completed one of her internships with us in 2006, and was hired as a Speech Pathologist in 2007. Her current caseload includes children with varying communication and social disorders, including: Autism, Language Disorders, Fluency Disorders, Auditory Processing Disorders Articulation/Phonological Disorders, Oral Motor Function Disorders, Downs Syndrome, Developmental Delays and Pragmatic Disorders.

Nicole Temino, B.S. SLP-A

Nicole Temino is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant and has been with Children’s Speech Center since June 2009. Nicole is currently working toward her Graduate Degree in Speech-Language Pathology at NOVA Southeastern University and earned her Bachelor Degree in Social Work. Nicole is a member of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) and is dedicated to working with children with speech-language disorders.

Nannette Rodriguez, Office Manager

Nannette Rodriguez has been with Children’s Speech Center since 2004. She brings with her over 15 years experience with the speech and language community. Nannette is responsible for patient relations, insurance authorizations and billing, scheduling all therapies for the Center and scheduling screenings conducted outside the office.
